Paul has more than forty years professional experience in health, aged care, palliative care, homelessness and disability services. For two decades he has been an NGO based senior policy analyst and advisor, researcher, strategist, service designer and evaluator. His qualifications include Diploma Applied Science Nursing, Bachelor Applied Science Advanced Nursing – Community Health, Graduate Diploma Health Counselling, Master of Public Health and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Paul has sat for eight years on the Victoria University Human Research Ethics Committee as the expert member for research in vulnerable population groups. Paul has worked to advance multicultural practices in a number of settings and has also undertaken specific projects with a cultural and linguistic diversity focus as a consultant with Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria, the Commonwealth Humanitarian Settlement Services program and the Eltham Syrian Refugee Resettlement project.
