This roundtable meeting brings together small ethno-specific and multicultural organisations, larger Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers, and government agencies to strengthen collaboration, share resources, and explore sector-specific challenges.
As aged care reforms continue to evolve, it is crucial to equip CALD CHSP organisations with the necessary tools and strategies to sustain and enhance their services.

Providing cultural safety to individuals receiving palliative care in a community or aged care setting involves delivering respectful, inclusive and person-centred care that honours their cultural beliefs, traditions and identity. Cultural safety for individuals receiving palliative care in an aged care setting is embedded in the Aged Care Act and Strengthened Quality Standards.
